Impco’s on-going investment in technology includes the very latest computer and machinery tool technology our capabilities are expanding all the time. Our intelligent based manufacturing system enables us to control CNC milling and turning centres with features including: C axis milling and powered tools holders for back drilling, milling, etc. on the turning centres, with positional accuracy to 2 micron's in X Y and Z axis. Our fully comprehensive and conventional machine shop together with an assembly area fully supports the main CNC machining section.
We have a fully equipped inspection department for both in-process and final inspection. To ensure our high standards are constantly maintained, we have a comprehensive quality management system and material review process, from incoming raw material right through to despatch. We are always looking for opportunities to make improvements in all of our alloys in continual production. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2008 complainant, and we understand the importance of offering our customers full traceability and repeatability.
